IVS Digital is a software development company with offices in Johannesburg, Cape Town and London. For the purposes of the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA), IVS Digital is the responsible party for personal information processed through this website. What we collect and why
When you submit an enquiry through this website, we collect your name, work email address, company name, and the details you choose to share about your project. We process this information for one purpose: responding to your enquiry and, where you engage us, delivering services to you. The lawful basis is your consent (given when you submit the form) and, thereafter, the performance of a contract.
What we do not do
We do not sell or rent personal information. We do not use enquiry data for automated decision-making. We do not send marketing communications unless you have expressly opted in.
Cookies and analytics
This website sets no tracking cookies by default. If analytics are enabled, they are configured to avoid storing personal identifiers, and this policy will be updated to describe them accurately before activation.
Cross-border transfers
IVS Digital operates an office in the United Kingdom. Where enquiry information is accessible to our UK team, it is protected by the same safeguards described here, consistent with section 72 of POPIA (the UK maintains an adequate level of protection under its own data protection law).
Retention
Enquiry records are retained for 24 months from last contact, after which they are deleted, unless a contractual relationship exists or law requires longer retention.
Security
Personal information is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access is limited to staff who need it to respond to you. We maintain reasonable organisational and technical measures as required by section 19 of POPIA.
Your rights
Under POPIA you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you may object to processing or withdraw consent, by contacting our Information Officer at info@ivsdigital.co.za. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (inforeg.org.za).
